Striking utility chair, lovingly restored and upholstered in a sunny yellow fabric with orange velvet piping. This wonderful chair is from the 1940s and part of the Government's utility scheme during WW2. Its beautiful bentwood arms and curved front are reminiscent of the art deco period and it still retains its original 'two cheeses' label which has been hand-stitched to the platform cover under the cushion.
It is a rare piece of vintage furniture and a little piece of history.
It meets all fire safety standards.
